Host, Missouri is a quiet ranching community where everyone knows everyone, and almost everyone earns their living from Host Tender Meats. When a new veterinarian decides to call this town home, he finds himself fighting a cattle infestation that could become a catastrophic human epidemic. Mutating insect larva are developing a taste for more than dead cattle and they have the potential for war for explosive reproduction.
